Data Engineer - BI Design and build scalable & reliable data pipelines (ETLs) for our data platform, constantly evolve data models & schema design of our Data Warehouse to support self-service needs, work cross functionally with various teams, creating solutions that deal with large volumes of data, work with the team to set and maintain standards and development practices.
Data Engineer - BI Support Continuous improvement of Data procedures and processes to ensure increased reliability, problem troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implementations to prevent repeated occurrences, automate recurring manual procedures, documentation on problem solving guides that will enhance Data Support, support the business users on how to use the BI tool, be a keen advocate of quality and continuous improvement.
Data Engineer - Performance You will be a part of the team that makes sure that the data processing infrastructure that supports Farfetch’s Business Intelligence is able to fulfil the needs of our business users, you will be involved in the design and development of the large scale data processing computations, be it batch, streaming or ad-hoc queries. Specifically, you will be in charge of optimizing performance and mitigating performance issues that might arise, you will also be involved in the optimization and fine tuning of the data infrastructure, making sure that it is able to handle Farfetch’s data processing needs, you will be expected to research new software and technologies related to data processing to solve data engineering challenges that arise from Farfetch’s exponential data growth, you will be a part of a highly technical cross functional group with experience on Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Analytics and Data science. Because we believe in using the right tool for the right job, our technology stack is very heterogeneous, and you will be challenged with problems on various platforms: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Hadoop, just to name a few.
Data Governance Manager Roll out the enterprise wide data governance initiative, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture, execute enterprise data governance strategies in line with the Farfetch`s strategic plan and objectives, define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal data assets, serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and Technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning, coordinate and coach the Data Governance & BI Self-Service team, including activity planning and refining working methodologies in order to ensure alignment with Data group’s strategy, establish, communicates, and implements departmental plans, objectives, and strategies, define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements, establish processes to continuously monitor data quality, ensure processes are in place to proactively detect, correct, and prevent invalid data values.
Principal Engineer - Data Help data engineers solve complex problems in the realm of BI, Big Data, and Analytics; Be a part of the team that decides the long term technical roadmap for farfetch data platform; Be the technical reference for data engineers when tackling complex problems or deciding on what is the best approach to solve problems centered around data; Have an holistic vision about the technological stack, the development patterns and the set of tools that data engineers use and evolve that stack, patterns and tools; Work closely with the architecture team to assure data engineering is working towards the standards we set ourselves as a company; Engage with other engineering teams to assure the solutions the data engineering team provides are fulfilling their most complex requirements; Coach and up-skill other engineering team members in data engineering topics, acting as a reference for data engineering standard methodologies within Farfetch.

Data Business Analyst - Store of the Future Eliciting requirements: Pro-actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify data requirements and ensure they are complete and unambiguous; Communicating requirements: Document and present requirements to internal product, architecture, engineering and BI teams; Supporting technical teams: Provide ongoing development support, ensuring queries and additional information requests are accurately and promptly resolved; Coordinating acceptance testing: Planning and coordinating testing and ensuring acceptance criteria match stakeholder expectations; Roadmap planning: Applying insights gained from stakeholder engagement to contribute effectively in product roadmap planning; Product vision: Ensuring a robust understanding of the product vision and convincingly articulate that vision.

Data Engineer - Big Data Design and develop highly scalable, end to end process to consume, integrate and analyze large volume, complex data from sources such as Hive, Flume, Kafka or Storm; Provide Data Engineering expertise to multiple teams across our organization. Provide guidance and support to software engineers with industry and internal data best practices; Build fault tolerant, adaptive and highly accurate data computational pipelines. Data Scientist - New York You will work with large, complex data sets, solve hard problems using advanced statistical and Machine Learning techniques. Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations, you will prototype and productionise Machine Learning pipelines to provide a solution to large commercial impact problems, particularly in the Digital Marketing space, that keep Farfetch ahead of the competition, you will collaborate with other Scientists and Engineers to build efficient data products.
